Silver ointment contains pure silver. The constant release of silver ions produces an antiseptic effect and fights bacteria. Inflammation is reduced and the skin regenerates. Its high level of vegetable oils hydrates chapped skin and softens it. It can also be used as prevention and protection of the pastern against humidity and bacteria. Silver ointment can be applied in conjunction with zinc oxide spray.
